Why I Created Life Game Mode

After my RPG Habits Tracker unexpectedly blew up, something became clear:

People are tired of boring productivity systems.
They want something fun.
They want something that feels like a game.
And they want it free.

So when I started getting dozens of messages asking for an all-in-one gamified life planner, I delivered.

Life Game Mode is my answer.
A full Notion system that helps you manage your habits, tasks, reflections, and goals — while earning XP, leveling up your personal character, and collecting coins to spend on rewards.

What’s Inside Life Game Mode?

Let’s walk through each part of the system.

Habit Tracker

The foundation of your daily growth.

• You’ll track Good Habits (like reading, praying, journaling) and earn XP + Coins when you complete them.

• You’ll track Bad Habits (like scrolling, skipping important tasks) and lose points if you fall into them.

It’s your daily battle. Every tick pushes your character forward or pulls them back.

💰 Make small wins feel rewarding

Quests

This is where tasks become adventures.

• You can create quests for anything, from working out to writing your next article.

• Each quest has a reward: XP and Coins.

• The more quests you complete, the more powerful your character becomes.

Forget dry to-do lists. Your productivity is now part of the game.

Objectives & Missions

• Objectives are your major goals (like launching a business).

• Missions are medium-sized efforts (like creating your first product or completing a 30-day challenge).

Each completed mission rewards you, pushing your character closer to the next level.

Your Character, XP, and Levels

You’ll have your own custom character card in the template.
Every time you finish a quest, habit, or mission — you earn XP.

Hit a certain threshold, and you level up.

Just like a real RPG.

It makes your personal growth feel visual, trackable, and fun.
You’re not just "checking boxes" — you’re evolving.

Reward Shop

Every coin you earn can be spent here.

• Set up your own custom rewards (like coffee, rest day, buying something).

• Add prices to them.

• When you’ve earned enough coins, you “buy” them and enjoy the reward.

It creates a feedback loop: productivity → reward → motivation → repeat.

Points Settings

You can customize the value of XP and Coins across everything.

Want to reward good habits more than quests? You can.
Want to make bad habits more punishing? Easy.

This is your game, and you’re the designer.
