A lot of you have been asking me this question.

Do you use AI to write your emails?

Someone even spotted it in one of my articles a few months ago. Called it out. So let me just tell you the truth.

Ready?

Yes. I use AI.

And no. These emails are not AI generated.

Let me explain.

Everything you read from me is about 95% handwritten and 5% AI. And that 5% is grammar correction. That is it.

Here is how I actually write every single email you receive from me.

It starts with an idea. Sometimes it is a personal experience. Something that happened to me or someone around me. Sometimes it is a quote I read that sparked something. Sometimes I am reading a book or an article and an idea hits me out of nowhere.

When that happens, I add it to my system immediately. If I already know enough about the subject, I just start writing. If I do not, I go research it. I read articles. I look for books that talked about it. I watch long YouTube videos about it. I take my time until I actually understand the topic deeply.

Then I open a blank page and I start writing. From "Hey" all the way to the P.S.

And some of these emails take me two days. The last 10 days of 2025, some emails took me two full days just to research and write. Two days for one email.

Once I am done writing, I upload it to Claude. And now some of you are reading this like "ah so I have been reading AI garbage this whole time."

Wait. Wait a second.

I upload it to Claude and I tell him one thing. Fix my grammar.

That is it.

He does not add stories. He does not change the order of what I wrote. He does not rewrite my ideas. He does not make it "better." He just fixes things like if I wrote a word singular when it should be plural. Or if a sentence is grammatically broken.

Because here is the thing. I am not a native English speaker. My ideas are mine. My stories are mine. My voice is mine. But my grammar? That needs help sometimes.

Then he generates me subject lines. And honestly 99% of the time I do not like any of them and I end up writing the subject line myself. And again he fixes the grammar on that too.

So everything you read? It is from me. Writing to you.

And the way I try to write is like this. Imagine we are sitting in a car together. Just talking nonsense. Then the conversation gets serious and I start telling you something real. Something I actually care about.

That is what these emails are. You are my friend in the car. And I am just talking.

Now I will be honest about something else.

When I first started this business, I was using AI heavily. My first emails in 2024 were really relying on AI. I am not going to pretend otherwise.

But after a while, I started enjoying writing. I started finding my own voice. And once that happened, AI became a tool not a ghostwriter.

And here is the thing — I would be stupid if I did not use AI at all. Everyone is using it.

But there is a massive difference between "hey AI write me an article about productivity" and picking the best sounding option that still sounds like AI wrote it, versus writing everything yourself from the heart and the mind and just using AI to clean up your grammar.

That is the difference.
