Hey,
I was reading an article by James Clear the other day.
And one quote made me stop.
"I would have written a shorter letter, but I did not have the time." — Blaise Pascal
I read it the first time.
Did not understand it.
So I moved on.
Then something pulled me back. Let me read it again.
I did.
What?
I read it again.
Still nothing.
I took a breath. Slowed down. Concentrated on every single word.
And still, it did not make sense.
Does a shorter letter really take more time than a long one?
How is that possible?
Then it clicked.
It is not about a short letter.
It is about meaningful words.
Well selected sentences.
Clear instruction.
Straight to the point.
Powerful words. The kind where just one of them can change someone's life.
Pascal was joking. But in the most serious way.
The best products are often the simplest.
The best businesses. The best YouTube videos. The best stories. The best books.
Not the most complicated.
The most clear.
And that is why they succeed.
But here is what people miss.
Simple takes longer.
We think if we add more, it will be better.
But sometimes more is just noise.
And noise confuses.
Less is more. Not always. But often.
I used to think the opposite.
I used to throw any post on social media without thinking. I used to add any feature I could think of to my Notion systems. I used to explain everything in ten sentences when three would do.
But the truth is, you do not need more words.
You need the right words.
Here is the funny part.
I just received a comment from a customer.

He said I am taking too long to ship the new version.
And he is right.
And he is wrong.
It has been more than a year since Second Brain 6.0.
I have spent over 4 months on Game Mode v3 alone. And I am still not finished.
But I am not slow because I am lazy.
I am slow because I am selecting.
Features. Design. Details. Testing. Failing. Rebuilding. Again and again.
Because I do not want to build something good.
I want to build something no one has ever built.
And yesterday, I did.
I shipped the last feature in Game Mode. You can now change the entire system color theme in one click. Plus an AI agent that does it for you.

(In the other hand some customers want me to take more time)

I used to ship 3 different style versions of Second Brain.
The next one? One version. 7 themes. One click to switch.
Simpler on the outside.
Months of work on the inside.
That is the cost of simple.
It is hard to make the most of the few things.
But that is exactly why it works when you do.
I think this was my favourite quote of the week.
Productivity Hack:
Every single day you wake up at 100% energy.
Bad sleep? That drops.
Every action you take? It drops more.
But a nap and healthy food can bring it back up to 90%.
That is exactly what I built into Game Mode.
Your character has daily energy. It is affected by everything you do. And you can buy fuel with coins to recover.
Your real life, gamified.
I am so excited for this.
