Notion is complicated. Notion wastes my time. Notion is not for productivity.

I hear it everywhere. YouTube. Reddit. Twitter. Same complaints.

But here is the truth.

The issue is not Notion. The issue is you.

Notion is a tool. You can use it to make your life simple. Or you can use it to drown in your own system.

The tool does not decide. You do.

Now as a Notion creator, you probably think I live inside Notion. Every thought documented. Every task linked. Every glass of water logged in a hydration database with a relation to my wellness tracker.

I am the simplest Notion user you will ever meet.

If my business was not built around Notion, I would use it for 10 minutes a day. Maybe 15. That is it.

My day starts the night before. I plan tomorrow. One or two tasks. Sometimes three. Done.

In the morning I open my inbox. Flow tasks first. Quick ones in the middle of the day. Mark them done. Move on.

Habits? Some in the morning. Some at night. Check them off. Bad habits? Avoiding them is the goal. No action needed.

Ideas during the day? I write them down. Video idea. Newsletter idea. New feature. Quick capture. No overthinking.

End of the day? A few lines of journaling.

15 minutes total.

That is my entire Notion routine.

So why do people say it is complicated?

Because they make it complicated.

They build systems with 47 databases. They add relations to relations. They spend more time organising than doing.

I have seen people who want to track every sip of water. Every mood shift. Every micro-task.

Bro. Relax. You are not a science experiment. You are a human trying to get things done.

Productivity is about doing the work. Not documenting your existence.

But do not get me wrong.

I am not saying use a page with checkboxes and call it a day.

That is too weak. That will not hold your life together.

What I am saying is this.

Have a system that looks simple on the front. Easy to use daily. But when you need more, when you need to go deeper, everything is there. Ready. Waiting.

Simple to use. Powerful when needed.
